statsmith has no accounts and asks for nothing about you. This page says exactly what the site and the iPhone app keep.
When you ask a question, the question is sent to our server, which computes the answer and sends it back. The request carries a random identifier that the site keeps in your browser and the app keeps on your phone. It is made up on first use, it is not derived from anything about you or your device, and it can be cleared at any time by clearing the site's data or deleting the app. We use it to count how many different people asked in a day, not to identify anyone.
The server keeps each question, when it was asked, how long it took to answer, whether it was answered or refused, and that random identifier. Questions the engine could not answer are reviewed so that it can answer them later. Our hosting provider records the network address of each request in its ordinary server logs for a short time, as every web host does. Nothing is sold, shared or used for advertising, and no third-party analytics or tracking runs on the site or in the app.
The app keeps the questions you asked and their short answers on the phone, so you can return to them. That list never leaves the phone except as the individual questions you send. Deleting the app deletes it.
A shared card is an image made on your phone. It carries the question, the answer and the site's address, and nothing else.
